 Sophia is a Certified Entrepreneur and proud mother of three fearfully and wonderfully made young adults. Sophia, a Financial Advisor, and Licensed Minister, also serves as a restaurateur, author, and podcast host. Her transformative journey began with her joining Full Gospel Christian Church in 2011, where she able to discern her call to Ministry. Sophia blends biblical principles with real-life experiences, and spirituality in her work. Deeply rooted in Detroit, MI, Sophia draws inspiration for her diverse writing, teaching, and preaching, aiming to inspire hope, motivation, and authenticity in every audience, reflecting her passion for advocacy, social responsibility, and creative innovation.

Scholarships

Registration:   Friday August 16th.  Check-in begins at 3:00 pm.

For those who would like to arrive prior to check-in, early options such as: Biking, Hiking and Nature Walking are available.

Workshops:  You will choose one in the registration form.

• Painting with a Justice Twist- Human Justice 
• Nature Care Walk- Environmental Justice 
• Prison Ministry- Gender Justice 
• Pro Reconciliation- Anti Racist Justice

What to Bring:   Bible, journal, pen, twin size bedding, pillow, towel, wash cloth, personal items, walking shoes, light jacket, swimsuit, flashlight, non-aerosol bug aerosol.

A Sister to Sister Share/Gift Exchange, $10.00 maximum

Marketplace (new this year):  Do you have a side business or hobby and would like the opportunity to sell you wares?  The cost for a table is $10.00, payment to be made at the event.
